I had a mixed experience at the Donatello Hotel. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the Metro and the Mall of the Emirates. but the service left much to be desired. There were issues with room cleanliness and the attitude of some staff, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

My room was spacious and generally clean, though I noticed the carpets could use a deep clean. There were some maintenance issues around, such as finding a used cotton bud in the drawer and a piece of broken glass that made me uncomfortable with my kids around.

Service varied widely. While some staff were excellent, including the room service team, others were not very responsive. I faced issues during check-in with my room not being ready and had frustrating interactions with reception when I asked for assistance.

The hotel itself is spacious and well-located near the Metro and the Mall of the Emirates. however, the presence of smoking rooms and some lingering odors were not ideal.
